Body Blend Therapeutics

Customized Therapeutic Bodywork
Each session is tailored using advance bodywork modalities to address the root cause of pain and dysfunction. Through a detailed assessment of posture and movement, a collaborative wellness plan is developed to support your goals and deliver long-lasting relief.

Some of the manual therapy techniques utilized include:
Trigger Point Therapy: alleviate myofascial pain at the neuromuscular junction.
Deep Transverse Friction: aimed at breaking down scar tissue and improving tissue mobility.
Lymphatic Massage: to reduce edema and enhance fluid movement during tissue healing.
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) & Somatics: to improve communication and movement efficiency.
Supportive Modalities: Swedish or MNRI to prepare the body before applying more targeted neuromuscular techniques.

MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration)
MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) is a therapeutic approach designed to help improve the brain’s ability to process and respond to sensory input and motor actions.
Developed by Dr. Svetlana Masgutova, MNRI focuses on integrating primitive reflexes that are essential for proper brain development and functioning. These reflexes are automatic, involuntary movements that occur in infants and are typically integrated as the nervous system matures.
However, sometimes these reflexes don’t integrate properly due to stress, trauma, or developmental issues, which can impact motor skills, emotional regulation, learning, and behavior. MNRI uses specific techniques to “retrain” the nervous system, helping it to better process sensory and motor signals. The goal is to help individuals with a variety of challenges, including those related to developmental delays, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and trauma recovery.
Through targeted exercises, body movements, and touch, MNRI helps to facilitate the natural development of these reflexes, improving overall cognitive, emotional, and physical functioning. The therapy is often used as a complementary approach to other treatments, offering significant improvements in coordination, communication, behavior, and emotional regulation.
